Mt Pleasant is a small town in the middle of "east" Texas. 50 miles from Texarkana, 90 miles from down down Dallas, and 45 miles from Longview and Tyler. The life here is laid back and slow paced. But within 1-1 1/2 hrs you can have whatever you want from fine dining to great entertainment. A wonderful place to raise children with values.
